Our Administrative Staff

Executive Director Ian Duh does a little bit of everything, but he does more music than anything else. He has performed with the Williamsport Symphony, Altoona Symphony, and the Music at Penn’s Woods Festival Orchestra. His is also no stranger to PCO—most recently as a member of the violin section since 2019, but previously as a young soloist in 2009.

As an undergraduate at Penn State, he earned dual degrees in piano performance and general science, led student organizations such as the Liszt Society and two contemporary a cappella groups, and conducted musical theatre productions on the side. His further musical education has culminated in dual Masters of Music in violin (Penn State, 2022) and piano (University of Maryland, 2019). Since then, he has performed as a recitalist, collaborative pianist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician with the Williamsport and Altoona Symphonies and the Music at Penn’s Woods Festival Orchestra.

He is also a passionate and service-minded private studio teacher and has served as the President of the Central PA Music Teachers Association since January 2022. As Executive Director, he brings a passion for sharing classical music with the younger generations and a vision for a diverse, multi-centric practice of classical music. He now resides in State College, PA and New York City with his wife.
