Centuries ago, musicians were typically composers, performers, and improvisers; each involved in every part of the music-making process. Now, in 2015 we find many genres with sharp delineations and musicians with specializations. Classical music is sometimes referred to as boring and popular music as commercial and shallow. It seems as if the bridges that once joined different aspects of music have been closed off or broken. Revamped tries to cross these bridges in this CD as we infuse classical music with modern sounds and simple popular tunes with rich depth.

Our patrons enjoyed delicious food, drink, and an entertaining program by the PCO Reed Trio with Robyn Dixon Cost, oboe, Anthony Costa, clarinet, and Daryl Durran, bassoon. Maestro Yaniv Attar also delighted everyone with a description of our season concerts which made for a very enjoyable evening.
