Congratulations to our essay contest winner, Emily Harris, a 9th grade student from Bellefonte Area High School. Her essay entitled "The Arts Under Oppression" will be published in our April 30th concert program, and she will be presented with a check for $100 from the PCO. Two other entrants have received honorable mention for their essays, and will be presented with checks for $50 each at our concert. They are Susannah Hoskins, a homeschooled 6th grader from Boalsburg, and Olga Stefanovich, a 9th grade student from State College Area High School. Congratulations to all three of these excellent writers!
