Robyn Dixon Costa is the principal oboist of the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra and a member of the Music at Penn’s Woods Festival Orchestra. She is also the English hornist with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and an associate musician with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. She has been a featured soloist with both the Dayton Philharmonic and the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra.

In addition to her performance career, Robyn is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and a teaching member of Alexander Technique International. She helps people learn to use their minds and bodies efficiently and without pain.

Currently, Robyn teaches Alexander Technique for Musicians, Introduction to Film Music and How Classical Music Works at Penn State. She lives in State College with her husband, Anthony, and her daughter, Zoey.
